26/3/2024

Dear parents and teachers,

On behalf of the AMPA Management Committee, I would like to thank all parents and teachers who attended the conference “Pre-adolescence and smartphone use” given by Dr. Pellai on 15/03/2024 and I would like to share with everyone the feedback received, which was only positive. Dr. Pellai asked me to thank everyone for their interest and active participation and to pass on the message that he feels privileged to offer his knowledge and presentation to the international audience.

It is reassuring that all parents and teachers who were present have the same goal – to minimize the smartphone use in the daily life of our children and understand and, in order to be successful, respect the responsibility and collaboration of both parents and the school.

We are happy to share the PPT presentation with you and hope to be able to share also the recording of the conference after the Easter holidays.

As many parents have asked us to organise a similar talk to pupils, we are happy to announce the next AMPA Talk “Smartphones and mental health” on Friday 19/04/2024 at 18:00h for pupils, parents and teachers of the European School of Alicante.
