AMPA EEA is the association of families of the European School of Alicante. AMPA is made up of all the families of the school who wish to subscribe, pay a yearly annual fee (40 EUR / family) and enjoy the services it offers. The management of the AMPA is carried out by the Management Committee, which we explain below.
Management Committee (MC)
The AMPA Management Committee is made up of volunteer parents of the school, and can be formed with a maximum of 21 members as indicated in our statutes.
Parents interested in participating can do so in two ways:
- Forming part of the Management Committee (MC) with the right to vote
- Collaborating in different working groups
Becoming a member of the Management Committee
To be part of the Management Committee, it is necessary to be able to dedicate approximately 14 hours per month, attending the monthly meeting of the MC (2,5 – 3h), attending meetings with the school and representing families in the different working groups and committees of the school (during or outside the school hours), reading both the documents of the AMPA and the documents shared with the AMPA by the school.
Collaborators
At any time of the year families can volunteer as collaborators for different working groups, within their area of expertise or interest.

To become a member of AMPA you must first be registered at the European School of Alicante. Then you can register on our website https://ampaescuelaeuropea.com/alta-ampa/

You can collaborate in two ways:
1- As a volunteer participating in specific projects or collaborating with the working groups already formed. Here you have the form to collaborate as a volunteer:

2- You can be part of the Management Committee and get involved throughout the year in the activities managed by AMPA. This modality requires some availability to be present at the annual meetings and to get involved in the projects. At the beginning of each school year, the registration period for the Management Committee is open.

Payments
Payments are made from June 15th to July 15th and from the 1st of September to the 31st of May of the following year. All payments from September to May will be collected the following year in July. For example, if the AMPA fee has been paid in September 2022, the next school year’s fee will be charged in July 2023. If the AMPA fee has been paid in March 2023 (families who start the school year in the middle), the next school year’s fee will be charged in July 2023.

40€ per year.
No, every year a new charge will be done with the credit card provided. If you paid by bank transfer then you will be requested to make a new payment. You always can change the method of payment by informing CdG.

This is not necessary. The service providers are aware of who is a member of AMPA. You can still download the membership certificate from the member’s area.
