The «Well-being» working group welcomes you to our small space from which we wish to share with all families the concerns, objectives and activities of the AMPA related to the affective and social environment in which the schooling of our daughters and sons takes place.
Our aim is to collaborate with the school and with families in the prevention and monitoring of well-being problems that may arise as, for example, bullying (in all its forms) at school. The AMPA MC and specifically our well-being working group, is always available to offer our help to all members of the school community.
We cannot allow any problems of anti-social behaviour and coexistence to become chronic and form part of the daily life of the school. On the contrary, we insist on seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
European schools, due to the cultural and linguistic diversity that characterises them, are more prone to problems of coexistence and bullying than other schools. However, this can be prevented if measures are taken and the whole school community is involved in eliminating this nuisance.
AMPA MC activities include:
- Supporting KiVa (KiVa Program anti-bullying project) in primary school from 2021-2022 and in S1, S2 and S3 from 2022 and in S4, S5 from September 2023;
- KiVa: we organize training on well-being for monitors of extracurricular services, canteen, transportation and El Faro; During the 2023/2024 academic year we organize the talk for families;

Creativity and Well-being
Creativity is increasingly important, not only in the visual decoration of the classroom and hallways, but in the context of the school grounds. An educational curriculum that supports creative thinking benefits all students, in all subjects, and contributes to better learning outcomes for non-academic learning styles. Creativity at school affects everyone’s well-being. Starting in 2022, AMPA has initiated a series of cultural and creative projects that aim to impact the following points:
- Cultural and creative advisory service to school management
- Liaise with school staff on creative collaborations to support a visually stimulating school environment
- Develop workshops led by cultural professionals and artists for the participation and training of students
- Highlight culture and the arts as a key option for future training and employment
- Support more artistic resources at the school level
- Support the European School for Art Education curriculum in each educational cycle.
