Throughout the year, the AMPA collaborates with the school in two school parties:
Christmas Market
This festival takes place in December, usually on the second or third Thursday of the month. The event lasts from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. approximately.
The Christmas Market is a party associated with nursery and primary school classes to which all school families are invited. For the event, children present work they do with their teachers and food and drinks are offered. In addition, the school hosts the presence of Father Christmas for the joy of all the children.
The financial proceeds from this festival are usually donated to charities.
How does AMPA collaborate?
AMPA collaborates in this festival in several ways. The first, organising the food and drink tables managed entirely by volunteer families. The money raised is donated along with the school to charities.
The next way to collaborate is by financing the rental of bouncy castles so that children can have fun jumping and playing. In addition, AMPA usually finances Father Christmas’ house, an inflatable in which children visit and give him their Christmas wish list.
Another way to collaborate is by organizing a second-hand market. In it, families donate reading books and toys (never clothes), which are displayed for sale. Leftover toys and books are donated (generally to the Alicante Firefighters) and the proceeds are included in donations to charities.
Eureka! Is usually present, displaying all the clothes lost throughout the year so that families can recover them.

Springfest
This event, in which the entire school participates, is usually organized on the Saturday following the commemoration of Europe Day on the 9th of May, and lasts from approximately 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As it lasts all day, the organization requires much more dedication. At this event, nursery and primary school students demonstrate what they have learned in the extracurricular activities courses. S7 secondary school students, together with the Student Committee, organize events to raise money. Concerts, activities, awards ceremonies, etc. are organized.
The financial proceeds are usually donated for various purposes, but always looking for associations or entities that are related to the education, health and well-being of children in the world.
How does AMPA collaborate?
This large-scale event relies on the collaboration of AMPA in several aspects. To begin with, AMPA, with the essential participation of families, organizes an international buffet with the sale of food and drinks from all over the world, distributed by nationality. We try to represent all the countries of the European Union and the entire world, since at our school there are families from outside Europe.
AMPA organizes a contest to reward the tables that have sold the most, for this a vote is carried out in which all the tables participate. The president of AMPA presents the awards to the three tables with the most votes.
The proceeds from the international buffet are donated to associations or entities that are related to the education, health and well-being of children in the world.
In addition, AMPA collaborates by financing two bouncy castles that are available to children throughout the party.
Eureka! Is usually present, displaying all the clothes lost throughout the year so that families can recover them.
