We are delighted to share this wonderful news with all our families!
The garden of the European School of Alicante is more vibrant and beautiful than ever, thanks to the enthusiasm and collaboration of our students from Early Years, Primary, and Secondary.
Over the past weeks, our young gardeners have carefully tended the soil, observed the first sprouts, and celebrated each new step of growth. The result is a colourful, thriving garden where we are growing: chickpeas, lentils, peas, broad beans, broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, beetroot, spinach, garlic, onions, celery, leeks, lettuce, potatoes, and artichokes.
Every corner tells a story of patience, curiosity, and learning. Watching the students grow their own food not only beautifies our school, but also strengthens values such as responsibility, teamwork, respect for nature, and a sense of wonder for the cycles of life.
On behalf of the AMPA, we would like to thank all the students, teachers, and volunteers who made this project possible.
🌱 A small oasis grown by many hands, now a great source of joy for our whole school community.
