As you may well know, two exciting projects take place after the June examinations. This year our Year 5 students will participate in the Citizenship Actions for All Programme (CAAP), a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful volunteering experiences that broaden their perspectives and foster active citizenship. Meanwhile, our Year 6 students will take part in the Work Experience Programme (WEX). With their final European Baccalaureate examinations fast approaching, this programme is designed to help students explore potential career paths and gain valuable insights into their chosen fields. By aligning their work experience with future academic interests, students can make more informed decisions about their next steps after secondary school.
A call for support
We are reaching out to you to help us create a stronger network of partner companies, charities and organisations to support these two initiatives.
- CAAP: Are you involved in volunteer work yourself? Or do you know an organization that could welcome some student volunteers? If so, we would love your help in connecting with this charity or organisation to provide our students with enriching volunteering opportunities.
- WEX: Finding work placements can be a challenge and therefore we would greatly appreciate your assistance in expanding our network. If you own or work at a company that could host one of our students, please consider offering this invaluable opportunity.
