InterParents, the association that federates the Student Parent Associations of the 13 European Schools, meets four times a year to discuss topics of common interest and develop joint positions. Featured topics include language policy, pedagogical reform, competency-based assessment, the use of educational technology, support for the European Baccalaureate, provision for students with special educational needs, school failure rates, inspection and quality assurance, distribution of costs and teacher remuneration, and sustainability, as well as ensuring adequate infrastructure and funding.

At the meeting prior to the Joint Teaching Committee (JTC) and the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of InterParents, held on 10 and 11 February 2025 at the European School in Brussels I, key topics were addressed such as assessment in primary and secondary school, the organization of the European Baccalaureate 2025, comprehensive school inspections, educational support, guidelines on student mobility and the inclusion of Catalan as an official national language in Schools European. In addition, during the AGA the InterParents board of directors was renewed, appointing Reet Escribano (APEEE of Alicante) as president, and delegates were confirmed for the next meetings of the Budget Committee and the Board of Governors. It was decided to keep the annual membership fee at EUR 1,680 for 2025 and to postpone the discussion on relocating the headquarters from Luxembourg to Brussels. The Alicante Management Committee was encouraged to review these changes and coordinate with the new board of directors for upcoming initiatives.
